On the occasion of visit of Dr Bernie Fanaroff, the Square Kilometer Array (SKA) Africa Director, we would like to cordially invite you to the Workshop for the Review of the AERAP Framework Programme for Cooperation”, which will take place at the South African Mission to the EU in Brussels, on 15 September 2015. Following the development of the AERAP Framework Programme, this meeting will allow for discussion of the core AERAP community members on thematic priorities of the document as, among others, research infrastructures, human capital development for radio astronomy, ICT and big data, renewable energy for radio astronomy.  
 
 
 
The aim of this workshop is to take stock of the past activities and policy developments since the establishment of AERAP and preview the opportunities in the following 12 to 18 months.
 
 
 
Please note, that subsequent to the workshop, the South African Mission to the EU will hold a reception in honour of Dr Fanaroff. Besides AERAP speakers and participants, Members of the European Parliament, officials of other European institutions, as well as the Science and Technology community in Brussels, will be invited.
